Do you want to help Guide Dogs and get your pup's pictures taken at the same time?
You are at the right place!
I'm organising a Limited Edition Dog Portrait Day in aid of Guide Dogs. This means that 100% of the session fee will be donated to them, so they can continue the amazing work they are doing.
What is more, you can buy a spot as a Christmas present, and I provide you with a personalised gift certificate - printed or virtual, your choice. Just send me a message!
Location: Pitt Down near Winchester
My assistant will meet you at Pitt Down Junktion car park and will guide you to me. Detailed instructions on how to find the car park will be emailed to you closer to date.
The £80 session fee/donation includes
- a 20-minute session for up to 2 dogs and 4 people
- private viewing of the images (min. 10)
- an 8x10" Luxury Mounted Print and the corresponding social media resolution image
- £250 wall art credit
- option to purchase wall art, prints, and digital portraits
limited edition sessions
If all 10 spots are sold I round up the donation to £1000
What's the location?
The location is the Pitt Down. Detailed instructions on how to find the car park will be emailed to you closer to date.
When are these sessions held?
Sessions will be held between 10am and 3pm on the 13th of January. The 20-minute slots can be booked by clicking on the 'Book Now' button.
Is this session suitable for reactive/nervous dogs?
Unfortunately, probably not. This is a popular dog walking space, and there will be other dogs and people around. However, if your dog is ok with others being about 50 yards, then we can keep them on the lead during the session and ask people to keep their distance.
MY DOG CAN’T BE OFF-LEASH? IS THAT OK?
Yes! Most of the dogs that I photograph remain on lead throughout the entire session for their safety. I can even capture some action shots with a special long line...all while keeping your pup safe and sound! The leash is removed through the magic of Photoshop from the final images.
WHAT IF MY DOG DOESN’T SIT?
It’s ok! I can guarantee you that I have worked with dogs that were more challenging than yours! I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to create engaging images no matter what the obedience level of your dog is.
WHAT IF I HAVE MULTIPLY DOGS WHO WON'T SIT TOGETHER?
Believe it or not, this is not a problem at all. I can take individual images of each dog and merge them together at the editing stage, thanks to my Photoshop skills. Note that this session type is suitable for up to 2 dogs. Please book two slots if you have more than 2 dogs
Can I be in the images?
Sure! This session is suitable for up to 4 people.
What if it rains? What if I need to reschedule?
We will try our best to hold our session at the agreed upon date and time, however, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans and we will definitely reschedule. Due to the nature of this session, the session fee is only refundable if you cancel the session at least 14 days in advance
What about harnesses and gentle leaders, can those be removed?
I cannot guarantee that I will be able to remove the harness or gentle leaders from your final image, especially large harnesses that cover the majority of the dog’s chest. If your dog usually walks in a harness or a gentle leader, I recommend using those to walk them to the session and in between shooting locations, but if there is any way to have your dog in a regular flat collar that is ideal. If you have a sighthound or other dog that can easily slip out of a flat collar, martingale collars are ok and preferred over harnesses.
How much will I spend?
The £80 booking fee includes a 20-minute session for up to 2 dogs and 4 people, viewing of the images, an 8x10" Luxury Mounted Print and the corresponding social media resolution image, £250 wall art credit, and the option to purchase wall art, prints, and digital images. You can see the full price list by clicking on the button in the previous section. However, no additional purchase is required - if you are happy with the one portrait (print & digital) that is included in the session fee, I'm happy too :)
