Why This Book Matters

This beautifully curated book features over 50 muzzled dogs, captured living their best lives — playful, adventurous, and deeply loved. Alongside each portrait is a love letter written by their pet guardian, celebrating their bond and sharing the real stories behind the muzzle.

This project aims to challenge the stigma around muzzles and show the world that a muzzled dog is not a bad dog — they’re simply being set up for success.

Do you have a Nervous or Anxious Dog?

Are you worried that your dog won’t cope with a portrait experience? I completely understand how it feels to love a dog who finds the world overwhelming. Whether your pup is anxious, reactive, or just needs a little extra space, please know — you are not alone, and I can help.

A few years ago, I was a Training Assistant at Sussex County Dog Training, where I worked with a wide range of dogs, including those who struggled with reactivity or nervousness. I now bring that same calm, relaxed approach to every portrait experience, helping even the most sensitive pups feel safe and understood.

To help you decide if I’m the right photographer for you and your dog, you’re very welcome to book a complimentary introductory call. It’s a relaxed chat — no pressure, just a chance to talk through your dog’s needs and make a plan that suits them.
